you are not alone

someone cares

there is always one more resource that can help

i’m grateful for these resources helping others help themselves … and i’m grateful to be a presenter / volunteer for the Utah Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and to serve as the co-chair for the Salt Lake “Out of the Darkness Walk”

As a part of AFSP’s growing nationwide network of chapters, we bring together people from all backgrounds who want to prevent suicide in our communities. The Utah Chapter was chartered in 2010 and has Community Walks, Campus Walks, gatekeeper programs and support for those who have been touched by suicide through our outreach program. We are dedicated to achieving our mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide.

From addressing the education needs and support of families and individuals with mental illness, to advocating for access to treatment and services, to fighting stigma of mental illness, NAMI has become the Nation’s Voice on Mental Illness.
